SHIP WASTE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL

Tharros Marittima S.r.l. provides ship waste collection and disposal services for waste generated by ships moored in port and anchored in the Gulf of Oristano.

The service includes the collection of solid and kitchen waste, transport to shore, and disposal at authorized facilities, with full management of the documentation required by current regulations.

Operations are carried out using dedicated marine and land-based vehicles, ensuring rapid response, operational safety, and service continuity even in the face of specific operational requirements.

For the various types of waste, including bilge water, sludge, sewage and special waste, the service is organized using dedicated methods and in compliance with environmental and port procedures.

Approvals and Compliance

Tharros Marittima S.r.l. is registered pursuant to Article 68 of the Italian Navigation Code, holds a State maritime concession for ship waste collection services using workboats, and is registered with the Italian National Environmental Managers Register for waste management activities.
