MARINE POLLUTION RESPONSE & CLEAN-UP

Tharros Marittima S.r.l. provides containment, recovery, and clean-up interventions in the event of accidental oil spills or marine pollution incidents within port areas and coastal waters.
The company provides rapid Oil Spill Response services, including emergency containment, pollutant recovery, and environmental protection support in port and marine environments.

The service includes:

– rapid spill containment;
– deployment of absorbent booms, skimmers, and oil absorbent materials;
– recovery of pollutants from the water surface;
– cleaning and remediation of port areas, quays, and water surfaces;
– operational management of environmental emergencies.

Marine pollution response activities are carried out using products and absorbent materials approved by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, in compliance with current environmental and maritime regulations.
